It’s sure to be one of the highest profile restaurant openings in Downtown Las Vegas this year, and it’s happening on the ground floor of The Ogden. Asian restaurant and bar, Itsy Bitsy: Ramen & Whiskey, is set to open its doors this spring with a create-your-own ramen concept. Guests choose from a selection of noodles, broths and toppings, with an array of other menu items, including Japanese wakame seaweed salad, gyoza dumplings, garlic edamame plus design-your-own rice dishes and a selection of hand rolls including Kurobuta sausage and spicy tuna.
Open for both lunch and dinner, Itsy Bitsy: Ramen & Whiskey is sure to draw the evening crowd with its mixology program, extensive menu of Japanese whiskey, sake, signature cocktails and craft beers, and a playlist curated by top Vegas spinmaster, DJ Five.
With a chic, modern vibe, Itsy Bitsy: Ramen & Whiskey will feature black-stained reclaimed wood and copper accents in its 2,500 square foot location on the ground floor of The Ogden, where it will replace the recently closed WILD.
Itsy Bitsy is the first downtown project from restaurant stylist Martin Koleff, the mastermind behind Vegas hotspots Aburiya Raku and Sweets Raku. He will helm the food, while Corner Bar Management Group, known for Commonwealth and Park on Fremont, will bring the high-caliber mixology. The project is backed by Downtown Project, the Tony Hsieh-funded real estate developer, which has led the way for development in downtown’s Fremont East District.
